HEC Paris to host 2015 EFMD MENA Conference in Qatar
HEC Paris (“école des Hautes Etudes Commerciales de Paris” is a European business school located in the southern suburbs of Paris in France) ranked number one in the world for Executive Education by the Financial Times in 2014, will be hosting the 2015 European Foundation for Management ~Development (EFMD) MENA Conference on 12 to 14 April in Qatar.
The focus of the three-day conference chaired by professor Laoucine Kerbache, Dean and CEO, of HEC Paris in Qatar, will be on ‘Building Dynamic Networks and Partnerships for the region’, targeting specially all Deans, Assistant Deans and Directors of programmes, as well as Directors of international relations in the Middle East and North Africa Region (MENA).
The conference, held at the HEC Paris premises in Doha, has a distinguished line-up of speakers including:
- Laoucine Kerbache,
- Everette E. Dennis, Dean of North-western University in Qatar.
- Karim Seghir, Dean of school of Business Administration, American University of Sharjah,
- Robert Grosse, Dean of School of Business Administration, American University of Sharjah,
- Amol Dani, Chief operating officer, Georgetown University in Qatar and
- Christian Delporte, Associate Director Quality Services, EFMD.
Other prominent business leaders from the region will include:
- Abdullah Al Meshadi, CEO of Musheireb Properties and
- Ahmed Al Balushi M Omani, CEO of Bank Muscat
